Kimono Collections Classic handbags/purses are all made from heavily embroidered silk Wedding Kimonos (Uchikake).
The Uchikake Kimono Classic handbag is extremely rare and due to its
scarcity, very expensive when in pristine condition. There will never
be two handbags that are the same anywhere in the World. Each Uchikake
is unique and every cut of the Uchikake evolves a completely original
display of art on each handbag.
Absolutely nothing about the Uchikake is mass produced. Every cut of
the Kimono is individual to the one handbag being lovingly created.
Every wooden handle is hand cut, sanded, lacquered and branded. An
abundance of energey is showered on every Kimono bag, one bag at a
time, allowing each to have its own character.
The only thing that every bag does share is that they are all rare
beauties that capture the attention and admiration of practically
everyone - where ever they are carried! They truly have a life of their
own.
The Obi Kimono Bag is an upcoming Kimono Classic stunner. Obi are
also reasonably rare. The major difference between the Obi bag and the
Kimono bag is that there will be more than one Kimono Collections
handbag made from the Obi.
The Obi is one run of material that has a repeat pattern on its full
length. Each Obi produces approximately ten handbags. Not all would be
made using the same design, but some will be and Kimono Collections
cannot promise you that no one in the World will ever have the same bag
as you.
The Obi series of Kimono Collections
Classic handbags will be completely different to the Uchikake Kimono
Bags so that the differentiation is quite clear. The Obi handbag is due
